ChaoTropolis was original named "Chao News" and was hosted by Freewebs. It only had information on Sonic Adventure 2: Battle. At the time, Chao Island was my "idle", a site I looked up too. I outgrew Freewebs, and looked for a better host. I decided on Bravenet. Even though Bravenet sucks eggs. I made jokes that it should be called "BraveNOT". Heh... So I moved to Fortunecity. Which sucked too. It's imposible to fined a good host these days... but at least they let you use HTML to build your site. So anyway, that's when I re-named Chao News to "ChaoTropolis". About a week after I got hosted by Fortunecity, I emailed the owner of Sonic Strike, asking to be hosted by him. A few days later I talked to him over AIM and he said yes. And that's how ChaoTropolis came to be what it is today. Well, that and a year of hard work.... but there's only so much one webmaster can do.
